Prepare the puff pastry shells as instructed on the package. Cube the pears. Melt the butter in a sauté pan on medium high heat and add the pears, cooking & stirring for 3-5 minutes. Stir in brown sugar and cinnamon to the pan and cook for another 5 minutes. Add in cranberries and continue cooking an additional 5 minutes. Pears will be firm, but tender with a nice amount of caramelization.
Spoon warm mixture into baked puff pastry shells and garnish with whipped cream, maple syrup or ice cream.
Note: Puff pastry shells can be prepared earlier in the day. Fruit filling can be made ahead and reheated
